Together for Mozambique: Nourishing life
Today, Mozambique is going through a huge economic crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic. Even though positive cases seem to be under control, the crisis caused by the preventive measures adopted is very important.
For that reason, the Scholas Foundation in Mozambique is inviting you to collaborate in order to face this situation and win the war against COVID-19.
With your donation we will be able to help the families of Tofo:

Thanks to your donation, all families in Tofo and its surroundings will receive a health and food kit once a month.
Tofo and its surroundings have 730 families, composed of 5 people on average. For that reason, the estimated target is 3650 people per month, who will receive this kit to go through the pandemic with a nutritive basis.

Only 2% of population works under employment contract. The quarantine interrupts almost completely the work chain and economic income of every person. Food is decreasing and hunger is increasing.

Lack of information

Only 20% of population has access to information on coronavirus. For that reason, people have fear, are scared, and compare this event with past wars. During the delivery of kits, Scholas local team will provide and comment on information related to the virus, preventive measures and what to do if you have symptoms.

The entities participating in this project are TOFO SURF CLUB and TOFO TOFO, which will provide human resources to take campaign information to different areas of Tofo.
